Here's me!

My name is Elle (but my real name is Michelle C.)

Makeup (tutorials coming soon!)

Music (I aim to write some reviews on albums and articles about artists that are new, popular, or just simply amazing.)

Art (I happen to be pretty good at that..)

Food (Julia Child is my HERO)

Anything and everything that my readers want or that I’d love to share with you!

I love the idea that I can inspire others and share my thoughts and ideas with wonderful people.

My Seven Commandments!

1.) I should NEVER try to compete with other blogs. Yes, hits and comments are always great and appreciated, however I promise not to post something unless I care about it. Unless it gives me joy to share with everyone. Blogs shouldn’t be a popularity contest. YouTube has definitely turned into one, I’m all for keeping the blogging community free of that nonsense.

2.) I should NEVER care what the hell people think of what I post! I will absolutely do my best not to offend anyone (and I don’t think I will have a problem with that happening anyway) but to hell with pleasing everyone. No matter what you do there will always be some person who doesn’t like it.

3.) I don’t have to be fancy for my work to mean something. I’ll be real with you all, I’m not thin. I don’t have a never ending stash of makeup. I don’t have an amazing camera with amazing filters. I don’t have a lot of money. That doesn’t make my posts not worthwhile. At least everything I write will absolutely be from the heart.

4.) I never want this to be a chore for me. Ever.

5.) Many bloggers get ‘found out’ so to speak because they don’t treat their fans with respect and are fake.  One day people just start catching on and many fans find out that their favorite blogger is a total liar and not nearly the person they thought they were. That’s total bull. Nobody ever has to be fake. Period. So I’m telling you that you can count on me to be completely REAL.

6.) I will do my very best to be open when it comes to criticism. It’s not easy, but I’ll do my best. Nobody has to kiss my butt for me to be happy.

7.) Randomness is great! That’s not exactly a new thing I’ve learned, but it’s just…great! I want to blog about stuff I really like, not just one type of topic. When I discover a band, I want to share it with you guys. I want your opinions on things. I want to teach you things…I’m totally re-doing this blog and making it just everything awesome! Always feel free to make a request too! I freaking love that.
